What's in the Box?
Each Funsquare Play Couch will include 1x Thick Base, 1x Thin Base and 2x Trapezium Pillows. Additional addons such as the Half Trapezium, Cylinders, Play Steps, Play Pit, Folding Slope and Folding Circle are available to purchase separately.
Can my kids carry it?
Funsquare Play Couches are designed for kids of all ages. Most toddlers will be able to lift the sets with ease and the thick base is supportive enough for adult size kids too!
Is there a weight Limit?
Not at all, Funsquare Play Couches are made from the highest quality foam and will bounce back even after a long days’ work of being jumped on. We’ve chosen foam densities which provide the perfect balance between support and oh-so-soft comfort.
Can I mix and match colours within a set?

Where are Funsquare Couches made?
Funsquare products are manufactured locally right here in Melbourne, with high quality Australian foam and premium thick microsuede fabric made overseas.
We are meticulous with our fabric production, right down to the length of the hair fibers to make it as luxurious as possible. We have the dye colour mixed to our personal colour pallette and the fabric dyed and treated with a special stain and spill resistant treatment.
Why is Australian Made Important for Play Couches?
Whilst supporting Australian Made products = Supporting Australian Jobs, there are a few other reasons why Australian Made is so important for Play Couches!

Our foam is made using Australian Standards and is Certified GECA (Good Environmental Choice Australia) and AFRDI (Australasian Furnishing and Development Institute). Especially when it comes to kids, you can never be too safe.

What is Funsquare foam made from?
Our foam is made from 100% Polyurethane and manufactured locally in Australia using the highest quality production methods. Our foam is infused with an environmentally friendly solution during the manufacturing process to provide persistent antibacterial odour protection as well as mould and mildew resistance.
Our Foam is GECA Certified! The GECA label is only awarded to products that have the highest environmental credentials and represent the leading environmentally preferable options in the marketplace.
We take safety very seriously; our foam and fabric is independently certified to be free of harmful substances. Our foam and fabric is low VOC (virtually no VOC emissions) and formaldehyde heavy metal free.
Why have you used microsuede for Funsquare play couches?
Our premium thick microsuede is an exceptional fabric composed of millions of fine 100% pure polyester fibers. Microsuede is soft to the touch, wear resistant, water resistant, easy to care for and pet friendly!
Are our play couches safe?
Absolutely! We take safety very seriously at Funsquare, our fabric is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified to be free of harmful substances and our foam is GECA certified. Our foam and fabric is low VOC (virtually no VOC emissions) and free from formaldehyde and heavy metals.
Our premium thick microsuede fabric covers are soft and durable and we have chosen to manufacture our play couches with child friendly zippers, which are designed to be hidden to minimise any chance of injury to children. Our play couches do not contain any flame retardant chemicals.
Shipping and Orders
When will my Funsquare Play Couch arrive?
Our team is working super hard behind the scenes to get you your Funsquare Play Couch as soon as possible! All orders will be dispatched within 3 business days. Delivery time will depend on your location (Australia is a big country!) but look out for delivery updates for your order and we will do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
How will my Funsquare Play Couch Arrive?
Each Funsquare Play is compressed into a reusable vacuum sealed bag and placed into boxes measuring 77x77x27cm. We’ve carefully chosen high quality polyurethane foam for your Funsquare Play to ensure it bounces back as quickly as possible!
Why do you compress your Funsquare Couches?
We want everyone to be able to enjoy our play couches and have tried to keep shipping costs down as much as possible - compressing our play sofas helps us to achieve this and also minimises waste!
How long can I keep my Funsquare Couch in the Box?
We recommend taking your Funsquare Play Couch out of the box as soon as it arrives – your kids and your future self will thank you for it. However, if you need to keep your Funsquare for a special occasion, we suggest opening the re-usable vacuum bag and store it away. When you need it, reseal, vacuum and put it back in the box for that special occasion!
If Funsquare has high quality foam, why do you recommend only keeping in the box for a maximum of 2 weeks after delivery?
Yes, our Australian Made foam is very high quality but any foam that is compressed for a long period of time (months) will impact the lifespan. We want you to get the most out of your Funsquare and that's why we recommend opening the box as soon as it arrives.
How long will it take my Funsquare Play Couch to Bounce back after it arrives?
Your Funsquare Play Couch will bounce back to its full size within a few hours of it being removed from the vacuum bag. Kids can even start playing on the couch straight away - if anything, based on our experience the more it’s used the more it will help to get the foam back into shape!
How big is the Funsquare box for the Play Couch?
The box size for the Funsquare Play Couch and larger addons is 77x77x27cm.
The box size for our Pillow Sets is 65x40x16cm.
What are your shipping options?
We provide free shipping Australia Wide for orders $249 and over and use the best courier available to ensure your package arrives as quickly and safely as possible.

Refunds and Returns
Do you accept refunds and returns?
Yes, we have a 30 day trial period for you to try out and make sure it is everything you wanted and more.
Why do you have a 30 day trial period for your product?
We all know that colour and material can sometimes be hard to work out on the internet – if for whatever reason you don’t love the product then we’d be happy to process your refund or exchange. However, we love our product (we may be biased) and are confident that you will too!
Is there a product guarantee?
Our Funsquare Play Couches are designed to last and come with a one-year warranty.
I just received my product and there is an issue, what can I do?
Bummer! No worries, the Funsquare team take the quality of our product very seriously and are here to help. If there is anything you believe is faulty with the product you received, please contact us at hello@funsquare.com.au within 48 hours of receiving the product and we’ll work with you to resolve the issue.
Can I cancel my order?
Although we will be 😥 - yes, you can cancel your order prior to shipping and we will offer a full refund. Depending on your bank it may take up to 5 days for the credit to be sent to your account.
Care Instructions
How can I wash and maintain my Funsquare Play Couch?
To wash your Play Couch covers we recommend washing them inside out and zipped up in cold water by itself and to hang dry for best results. For further details, please refer to the washing instructions on the fabric tag.
To clean the foam, unzip the microsuede cover and spot clean only with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Allow the foam to completely dry before enclosing within the microsuede cover.
Is the Funsquare Play Couch spill resistant?
We all know that accidents happen and so we have applied a water-resistant treatment to our Funsquare Play Couches to help clean up any mess. Most spills will linger on the surface before getting absorbed, using a paper towel to blot up liquids will quickly solve the problem. If a spill does soak through, simple laundering in accordance with the care instructions should do the trick.
Does the Funsquare Play Couch attract pet hairs?
Common fabrics are woven in loops which means they can get caught and marked by pet claws. Microsuede doesn’t have any loops due to its construction and pet scratches generally don’t leave a mark. Don’t worry about stray pet hairs getting stuck on your Couches - a simple wipe with a damp sponge will remove these in a jiffy!
