Our Story: From Our Living Room to Yours
Funsquare didn't start in a boardroom; it started on our living room floor. In 2020, like so many parents, we found ourselves facing a big question: how do we keep the kids active, screen-free, and safe without another "one-use" toy cluttering the hallway?
As a Melbourne couple, we decided to build the answer ourselves. Yolanda is the creative heart of Funsquare, the one who dreams up the designs, obsesses over the perfect colours, and personally sources every material to ensure it's safe, beautiful, and built to last. Andrew is the hands-on force behind the scenes, managing the logistics and operations to make sure those high standards are met and our quality reaches families nationwide.
We spent months obsessing over the details, sourcing GECA-certified Australian foam and premium fabrics that could survive a four-year-old's "fort-building" energy and still look great in a modern home.
A Community of Play
Five years later, what began as a personal solution for our family has grown into a community. Today, Funsquare is at the heart of over 10,000 Australian homes, as well as schools, childcare centres, sensory rooms, and NDIS-funded households.

We both work personally on our customer service to ensure every family has the best experience possible, from the moment you choose your colours to the day your play couch arrives. We still design and assemble every piece right here in Melbourne, using foam made right in our backyard.

Funsquare Play Couches are made right here in Australia. We don't believe in waiting weeks for a delivery from an overseas warehouse; we believe in local quality you can trust today.
Our foam is GECA-certified, meeting an Australian environmental standard that is meaningfully tougher than the imported norm. This means we go above and beyond to ensure our products are free from harmful levels of formaldehyde, VOCs, heavy metals, phthalates, and phenols. Every material we use is carefully tested and our fabrics are independently certified safe for your home.
Local support, long-term peace of mind
Because we're local, our support is local too. Whether it is through emails, messages, or calls, you will always find a friendly team member right here in Australia ready to help.
We provide a 3-year warranty on our Play Couch range and most accessories because we know exactly how they are built. Your couch is going to see a lot of jumping, epic climbing sessions, and the occasional spilled juice. We've built it to handle all of it.

Funsquare is a registered NDIS provider (Provider Number: 4-G24F7MO). Since 2022, we have been proud to support families under the Assistive Equipment - Recreation category (Group 0112).
We know that every NDIS journey is unique. Whether a Funsquare Play Couch fits your individual plan and goals is a decision for you, your plan manager, or your support coordinator. To make the process as easy as possible, we support both plan-managed and self-managed purchases.
